Next Saturday, we're going to House of Blues Chicago to see Godsmack!
He (finally) noticed the wear and tear "life" has been inflicting on my usually resilient attitude, decided I/we need a break, and responded appropriately by facilitating access to a live performance of the music I find most therapeutic lately...and probably have made him absolutely sick of, playing it over and over at nearly intolerable volumes while I sulk.
(Oh well, not like he doesn't do the same with Nine Inch Nails or Sixx: A.M. even when he's not sulking.)
It's been ages since we've took a spontaneous weekend honeymoon. I can't wait!
