Ok, so now I'm just blogging to be blogging. I have nothing of value to contribute, but "Mister" is watching a show about the Sex Revolution on VH1 Classic that I absolutely do not want to watch. Bleck. (Btw, I call John "Mister" as a joking, exagerated reference to the character played by Danny Glover in "The Color Purple." If you've never seen the movie, or read the book, go ahead and check it out - well worth the time.)
Over the weekend, I went to the Rocky Horror Picture Show for the first time since high school and had a blast. Was surprised at how packed the theater was, and the level of crowd participation -- i.e. people showing up dressed only in lingerie. Click here for pics.
Well, ok -- I take it back. The show about the Sex Revolution finally moved on from flabby middle-aged people in the 60's swapping spit and other bodily fluids to the more interesting facet of the "revolution" -- the women's liberation movement.

Lately, I've been having repetitious bad dreams (the kind where you startle yourself awake) about tornados. It's always some variation of being trapped in a house with no windowless area to shelter in, or running around outside, surrounded by several huge tornados, and not finding any shelter. Adding to the anxiety in the dream, my daughter and granddaughter are often with me, so it's not just my own safety at risk.
So I decided to go back to the dream dictionaries and look up the meaning of tornado dreams. No comfort there, not that I really expected any.
Tornados
To see a tornado in your dream, suggests that you are experiencing some extreme emotional outbursts and temper tantrums. Is there a situation or relationship in your life that may be potentially destructive?
To dream that you are in a tornado, signifies that you are feeling overwhelmed and out of control. You will be met with a series of disappointments for the next week or so. Your plans will be filled with complications.
To see several tornadoes in your dream, represent people around you who are prone to violent outbursts and shifting mood swings. It may also symbolize a volatile situation or relationship.
Go figure... what, my life have complications, disappointments, and be overwhelming while spinning out of control? Surely you jest. But then, whose isn't?

A) That red font is killing me... I could hardly read it.
B) Did they get naked during RHPS... How do I not remember that... but in your pics I clearly see the sides of boobs! Damn I was wasted... thank the Mister for driving again would ya!!
C) Maybe you're just dreaming about tornados because it's tornado season... and I think we're gonna get one this year!!
A) yes, the font color sucked - i changed it
B) RHPS -- naked down to the electric tape -- about 4 strips per breast
C) I considered that possibility, but the dreams are too emotionally disturbing when tornados don't usually scare me much -- and well, there are some issues at hand that fit the dreaming definition.
